Scholarships and Student Aid

Scholarship Program

The Foundation of the Institut Maritime du Québec is proud to present the IMQ scholarship program, made possible by the generosity of its loyal partners.

At the heart of its mission, the Foundation supports the perseverance and success of IMQ students, who represent the future of Quebec’s maritime workforce. This scholarship and financial aid program is available to individuals enrolled in the four technical training programs offered by IMQ: Naval Architecture Technology, Marine Mechanical Engineering Techniques, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Navigation.

Thanks to the generosity of its donors, the IMQ Foundation awards $80,000 annually in scholarships to:

Lessen the financial burden on students, allowing them to continue their studies until they obtain their diploma;
Encourage perseverance and commitment by supporting academic efforts and student involvement;
Increase the attractiveness of IMQ programs by offering financial opportunities that attract new talents;
Stimulate the Quebec economy by training a highly skilled workforce for the maritime industry.

Through its scholarship program, the IMQ Foundation plays an essential role in shaping the workforce of tomorrow, while contributing to the growth and innovation of the Quebec maritime sector.
